RESISTANCE

Esbjerg Ribe Bramming 1940-45.

Who were the members of the Danish resistance during the German occupation – where did they come from, what did they try to accomplish and what did they do?

This exhibition tells the story of resistance and sabotage in South West Jutland from the early years with small groups of boys and communists and Denmark’s first town strike in Esbjerg August 1943 to rail road sabotage and executions in the last years of WWII.

A large part of the exhibit text is available in English.
